Identity Paper Questions
-What is Identity?
When I think of identity, I think of the questions, “who are you?” “what makes you, you” and “what sets you apart from everyone else?”
-How does the concept of family influence a person’s identity?
Family takes a big part when it comes to someone’s identity. Children always look up to the older and wiser, so, usually kids will follow in their parents footsteps and not fall too far from the tree.
-Is the absence of one thing (a parent, a career, attention, etc) the creation of another (curiosity, doubt, ambition, etc)
In my case, yes. The absence of affection can lead to anger. The absence of trust leads to more lies.
-Can Identity change over time?
When time goes on, people change. When people change, their identities change with them.
-Are people ever bound and anchored by powers outside of their control?

Title
What is identity? When I think about the word identity and what the word means to me, two simple questions come to mind, “who are you?” and “what makes you different from everyone else?” My identity is the person I am, how I was raised and who raised me, and most importantly how I got here. Life throws a lot of obstacles at you, it’s unpredictable. It’s about the way that I have dealt with said obstacles that shape me to be who I am.
