The prompt for this podcast was an outdoor walking tour. When I think of this I would think of someone going outside in the woods and record them walking on a ‘hike’. Capturing the sounds of the birds, foot steps on the leaves, and the crickets chripping in the background. But that does not sound very ‘Grace’ so I did a little twist.
To be quite honest, I do not do much walking outdoors. I wanted to make this podcast personal and not go on a walk just for an assignment. That is why I chose to do my walking tour on my walk to my car early in the morning on a Saturday to my car for my shift at Hannaford.
I always do the same walk. Leave Featherman hall, enter the commons with all the people studying that makes you feel the a terrible student for not doing the same. I then walk up the stairs that squeak everytime you go up them. After that I walk through the tunnel to get to the library, then walk through the library with even more students studying that makes you feel even worse. Then I walk through the door of the library to get outside of Decary. Thats to then cross the littlest street known to man to get to the lot I park my car in the weekends. I then start my car ad let it rest before I begin my 12 minute car ride to my place on employment, Hannaford in Biddeford.
